So some dreams come true and then when they fade you think to yourself wow was I blind to dream about that. I've had a lot of those in my life and they all centered on other people. While its great to live to help others and I will continue to or God will take me home faster. I have found in the last little while that your whole life cant revolve around 1 person or you'll get burned.
I have 4 great kids who have not gotten from their mom what they deserve.. I have a great body that God has given me to use and it also has not gotten the attention it deserves. From this day going forward my dreams are for my kids and myself. We will make it in this world with our heads held high and know that I've done everything I can to make it so.
I need to do some inner searching but plans right now are to kick things on the high track. I was getting up at 4am to go see a man who is no longer in my life so that time can be used for me. The fitness room will be awake between 4 and 5am as I think the people downstairs wouldn't appreciate INSANITY on their heads at that time. Then this is where I need to figure out and put in some structure... is it P90X, Insanity, ChaLean or just plain lifting and sheer power after that. I want to grow these muscles and be the biggest leanest me I can be. I have the knowledge, the tools and the strength in my body to do it. I just need to keep my brain in the backseat and get out of my own head and do it. Our brains to often hold us back but I can't let that happen anymore.
I have great tools in my hands to grow a great business. I have a company that stands behind and that there are thousands of testimonials to prove their products are superior I myself have lost 76lbs and will be many more using the programs. Why am I not sharing with others...
My coach said it best this morning... "you are at your best when single" and know what Dave you are totally right.. so single it is!!!! and with your help and the help of others around me I will be at my best. But know it has to start here... with me... with who I am.. Simple, Smartass, Silly girl and going forward I will always be who I've been "Just ME" and me is a good people to be.
Now one other thing I need to find is someone to help me figure out this blogging thing.. would love to have added a picture here but ummm can't figure it out LOL Also I have to remember how to get back to this blog so I can add to it LOL yeah not that computer friendly this girl but I can become anything I want to :o)
Hugs to everyone who has stood beside me through three years of BS and hugs to my family who has dealth with Many years of my BS.. Mom I love you more than you know and always will thank you for being supportive no matter what my issues were.

Been almost a month but I'm back
Haven't blogged here in almost a month but here I am again.. Things have been ok .. not GREAT just ok. I got to see my kids we had a GREATGREATGREAT day.. Love them so much. Hoping their dad will let them come and visit for a week this summer or at least a few days. Would love to introduce my great little people to the friends I've made down here. Work is good getting ready to do a few days in another Cafe as the "acting GM" while theirs is gone getting married and stuff. Going to be an interesting week for sure. I don't feel that confident in myself but have always been told I sell myself short. So maybe its my time to shine.
Eating is going good. Staying pretty much on track with it. Started running a few weeks back and so far my personal best is a 9:49 min mile.. I think that is awesome for someone that has never run before. Was planning on doing a 5k in July but that isn't happening due to work scheduling so I will have to look into another one later in the summer I guess. But will keep training until I can run three straight miles.
Getting back the lifting arms and will continue to do that as well. Had pushed the weights aside for awhile to concentrate on my life but that is what it is and really can't be changed. So its back to my motto "don't stress what you can't change" I can't change it so I won't stress it. Just keep DREAMING!!!!

Haven't been here in awhile
Things are going well I guess.. Staying down in the 145 range with my weight and size 8s are still a bit large.. so I'm happy there. Back to working out everyday and keeping my diet pretty on track. I will be heading north to see my kids in Pittsburgh this weekend and am really excited its been over a month since I've seen them miss them so much. Things at work are going well and I really like my job though sometimes its stressful. Yes I know its not rocket science or brain surgery but none the less its not kindergarten either. Working with people and in the service industry is always an interesting place to be. Just keeping it together sometimes is hard.
But I will stay the course and know that shortly things have to get better.. because in the words of a great motivational speaker "winter always follows fall and spring always follows winter and day always follows night" meaning that after the hard times in life there are always good ones. So just hanging in there and keeping the positive affirmations flowing and soon they will become reality!!! I have faith..

What an AWESOME day!!
My day started out GREAT got to see Ty and spend just a little time with him but I'll take what time I can get. What a great couple we are when we are together. If we talk fitness and workouts it is the best time because we are so alike and both so energized about it. Spent our day texting and deciding on supplements as well as me trying to get more things going with my Beachbody Business. What a great opportunity I have laying in my hands now to get it out to the people I know and don't know and let you all know how awesome it is. As a Coach I get 25% off all the products and programs and that is going to come in handy with all the new stuff coming out.. Body Gospel will be first.. followed by Turbo Fire then at some point P90 Next and Insanity Asylum... Tell me that doesn't sound like fun.. sounds like some savings to me and more choices hmmmm my ADD may have a workout fit soon. I'm up to 175 push ups of my 200 for the day working on a challenge of 3000 by the end of May... I got a slow start so I'm playing catch up. Can already feel things changing in my upper body.. LOVING IT!!! Well time for 25 more and some good book reading and then off to the sleepy land and up for some P90X in the am..

Little Joe's Birthday
Today my boy goes from 10 to 11... one step closer to being a teenager. Out of my 4 kids I'd have to say Joe is the quiet one, UNLESS you know how to talk video games or computer. Then I promise you if you think you know something you will walk away feeling like you know nothing. That boy reads reads reads plays plays plays.. Joseph I miss you very much your little RJ (random Joe) comments that make us all laugh that seem to come from nowhere and just pop out at the most random of times. Your laugh and your determination to get things done. Joseph you have a GREAT day today. Love you!!!!

Not sure
Why would one hurt themselves knowing its going to hurt the ones that love them most? I understand depression I've been there played that game but always seem to be able to realize that its not helping.. Diving into food or beer is not going to make the problems go away and as a matter of fact is going to make them worse. Why would someone do this knowingly knowing that the answer is just to get out of the situation and deal with the fall out its going to happen anyway.. Blogging here figuring no one reads this and I need to get it out.. I love this man with all my heart but don't understand why hurting himself feels it won't tear my heart out since I can't be with him. Lots of tears shed and lots more to come I'm sure but not giving up now.. I've come this far hopefully my love will mean enough someday.

Easy, Good and Good for you
Have found the easiest thing to make for anytime eats and its good for you and fairly inexpensive..... SO SIMPLE... Ready
1 package of coleslaw mix (or shredded cabbage/carrots if you have the patience) I also added a package of broccoli slaw.
1lb of any lean meat.. I used chicken and sliced it in small strips like the cabbage
1 bunch of scallions
cucumber cut in thin strips
garlic powder
onion powder
spicy red chili thai sauce
whole wheat wraps, rice paper , bib lettuce to wrap it in or just a plate..
Cook the chicken in a skillet with a little oil (I use coconut) and garlic powder. after the chicken is cooked through remove to a plate
put coleslaw and broccoli slaw into same skillet and cook down.. while its cooking slice bunch of scallions into it add a little more garlic powder I also added a few shakes of ginger. Cook 8-10 min til it cooks down a bit but is still crunchy. Add chicken back to it and re-warm... serve in chosen wrap with a good fair shake of Thai Chili sauce and thin strips of cucumbers.. The spice of the chili and cool of the cucumber is SO perfect.
I ate mine today just on a plate to avoid the carbs..last time added mushrooms to it and could probably add almost any veggie to it you wanted just to change things up and add more nutrition. Let me know what you think. Its SOOO yummy I've made it three times in one week... easy, good and good for you.. Perfect
